Last Straw

Rus­sell Brown offers up some timely com­ments on National’s loath­some polit­ical strategy in the lead up to New Zealand’s com­ing gen­eral elec­tion. It’s quite simple I think, if you want a divided New Zea­l­and, one where you are made to feel resent­ful about other New Zeal­anders every time you open a paper, then vote National because that’s the New Zea­l­and they’d like to foster; it’s the only kind of New Zea­l­and in which they believe they can grab power.
